Helping schools create exceptional learning experiences

The experiences we remember rarely come from sitting still. They come from exploring, creating, questioning, collaborating and reflecting.
I work with schools to create meaningful learning experiences that complement established teaching, enrich the curriculum and help young people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to flourish in a rapidly changing world.
Whether through curriculum innovation, outdoor learning, teacher development, project learning or whole-school initiatives, my aim is to help schools create learning that students don't simply remember—they carry with them.

Helping schools bring learning to life

Schools today are preparing young people for a future that is increasingly complex and unpredictable. Alongside academic success, students need curiosity, resilience, creativity, collaboration and the confidence to navigate change.
Outstanding schools already provide excellent teaching. Increasingly, they are also looking for ways to broaden learning beyond the everyday classroom—to create
experiences that challenge, inspire and develop young people in lasting ways.
Drawing on more than three decades of international educational experience, I work alongside school leaders and teachers to develop structured, research-informed approaches that fit their own context, values and aspirations.
Together we create opportunities that enrich learning, strengthen teaching and build a culture where curiosity, creativity and experiential learning become part of everyday
school life.

"You created some amazing opportunities for us, getting us out of the classroom, giving us a chance to challenge ourselves in a number of ways.  I sometimes tend to think back and reflect on the teachers who made a difference in my life. Some of those teachers pushed me to do better and some of them were powerful enough to make me believe I could do anything. - you were one of these teachers!"

Every school is different

That is why every partnership begins with understanding the school—its culture, aspirations, strengths and opportunities.
Sometimes that means designing a project week or outdoor learning programme.
Sometimes it means supporting teacher development, curriculum innovation or long-term school improvement.
Together we identify what matters most for your community and develop practical approaches that build on the work already taking place.

Examples of how we can work together

Each school has unique needs. These examples illustrate some of the opportunities
we might develop together.

Learning beyond the classroom

 Outdoor learning
 Adventure learning
 Residential programmes
 Educational visits
 Environmental learning
 Action service projects
 Place-based learning

Learning within the school

Project-based learning
 Theatre and storytelling
 Escape-room learning
 Interdisciplinary learning
 Teacher professional development
 Student leadership programmes
 Approaches to learning and developing self-directed learners

Rather than delivering a fixed programme, I work alongside schools to develop
approaches that become part of their own culture and curriculum - building
confidence, capability and meaningful learning long after our work together has
finished.

Who I Work With

I work with international schools, independent schools and educational organisations
that want to broaden what learning can look like.
Whether your goal is to enrich an already strong curriculum, create meaningful
learning beyond the classroom, develop confident teachers or strengthen whole-
school approaches to learning, I provide practical support shaped around your
school's needs and aspirations.

"You created some amazing opportunities for us, getting us out of the classroom, giving us a chance to challenge ourselves in a numer of ways. I sometimes tend to think back and reflect on the teachers who made a difference in my life. Some of those teachers pushed me better and some of the were powerful enough to make me believe I could do anything - you were of these teachers! "

Start the conversation

If your school is looking to create richer learning experiences, strengthen professional
practice or explore new possibilities, I would welcome the opportunity to learn more
about your goals and discuss how I can support you.
